As our sales advisor and brand specialist, we are lucky to have Heidi on our team. Here's what she has to say about her role at John Partridge...
Tell us about your role at John Partridge
I have worked for John Partridge at their Barton Marina store for nearly 3 years. I would describe my job as retail / customer service. I deal with customers in store and also any online customer inquiries.
I enjoy the face to face aspect of retail; talking to customers and explaining the history of John Partridge, plus the locally made USP, which does surprise a lot of customers.
I also enjoy hearing about their experiences and memories and sometimes getting to see the older jackets that customers bring in to show us.
What are your all-time top 3 products by John Partridge?
My top 3 products would be:
1. Quilted jacket - a classic versatile jacket that can easily be dressed up or down and I love the fact it comes in a range of colours with contrasting linings.
2. The JP dog coats - very cute and definitely a crowd pleaser, especially at our dog friendly Barton Marina store where we have lots of dog walkers.
3. The Classic Landowner - this season we did the Ladies Hunter Check which I liked because it stood out from the usual olives and khakis.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
When I'm not at work, I'm a busy mum of 3 teenagers and a small dog with attitude.
My main hobby would definitely be gardening; like the rest of the country I did a lot during lockdown. I also enjoy reading and never go anywhere without my trusted Kindle.
What are you looking forward to seeing from the A/W 20 JP collection?
JP is a classic brand with products that never date - next season I would like to see a more modern take with lots more colour.
